Medical experts are shocked and consider that it is real miracle: 42-year-old woman gave birth to 11 healthy, full term baby boys in Indiana.
According to the hospital report, Maria Fernandez, of Indianapolis gave birth after undergoing only 2 hours of labor and a miraculous birth.
Maria and her husband say they had trouble conceiving and decided to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF), as they were desperate to become parents.
It is incredible that she gave birth to 11 baby boys: six of them were identical twins weighting from 1-1.5 pound. They are currently in stable condition at Riley Children’s Hospital in the neonatal intensive care department.
Doctors are happy because they have smooth delivery without caesarian section, which in same time left them shocked and amazed.
Dr. William Roberts stated:
“They literally came out one after another. Only 37 minutes have passed from the time when the first one came out to the eleventh.”
Maria Fernandez and her family probably will be registered in the 2015 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records as the hospital contacted them.
